Saving files, such as songs, on the Internet allows you to keep a backup of those audio files online. When you save a song on the Internet, you will also be able to create a download link for the song, allowing you to share this song with others on the Internet. Saving a song on the Internet isn't too different than uploading an attachment in an email, and you don't have to pay anything to save a song on the Internet.
Instructions
Rapidshare
1. Go to the Rapidshare homepage and click the "Browse" tab. A window will open.
2. Choose the song you want to save on the Internet and select the "Open" button in that window.
3. Click the "Upload" button to the right of "Browse." The file you selected will be uploaded to the Rapidshare website. Two links will appear when this process complete.
4. Select the first link, labeled "Your Download Link," and a new webpage will open. This will be the download page for the MP3 file. Save this link because you will need it in order to download the MP3 file you saved on the Internet.
MediaFire
5. Go to the MediaFire homepage and click the large green "Upload to MediaFire" button. A window will appear.
6. Click the "Upload your files" button in the middle of the window. A small window will appear on the screen.
7. Highlight the song you want to save on the Internet and click "Open" in the small window. The name of the song will then appear in the large window that is located on the MediaFire page.
8. Choose "Begin Uploading Files" and the song will upload to the Media Fire website. When the process completes, a "Share" link will be listed.
9. Click the "Share" link and a window with several links will appear. Save the "Sharing URL" or "Sharing URL with Filename" link in order to access the download page for the song you saved on the Internet.
