The 20-mile State Route 15 in northern New Jersey extends between the townships of Dover and Frankford. This highway drives by Garden State destinations such as Lake Hopatcong, which facilitates boating excursions, as well as the Rockaway River State Wildlife Management Area. This recreational park features hiking and cycling trails, picnic facilities and chances for birdwatching. Chatterbox Drive-In
Chatterbox Drive-In is a nostalgic diner in Augusta, located at the intersection of State Route 15 and U.S. Highway 206. This dining establishment has an upbeat atmosphere and features 1950s and '60s-themed memorabilia throughout the restaurant, including a jukebox and a center stage with a vintage hot rod car. Chatterbox Drive-In serves lunch and dinner every day of the week. Entree items on the menu include Mandarin salmon, Bourbon pork loin and fried chicken, while the dessert menu offers selections such as "Blueberry Hill" blueberry pie, "Jona's Apple Crispy" apple pie and New York cheesecake. During the summer, Chatterbox Drive-In hosts vintage car and bike events on the restaurant's parking lot.

Gatwyns II in Lake Hopatcong is less than a mile from the fishing and boating facilities at Lake Shawnee. This casual restaurant serves Italian cuisine and features a full-serviced bar area that has televisions for sporting events. Gatwyns II serves lunch on Wednesdays through Sundays, and dinner every night of the week. Founded in 1987, New Orleans Steakhouse is a Creole-style restaurant in Wharton that is a 10-minute drive from Minisink County Park and boating facilities at Lake Hopatcong. This fine dining establishment features French-Quarter style interior decor, such as a chandelier and Mardi Gras memorabilia throughout the restaurant. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner every day of the week, as well as brunch on Sundays. The brunch menu has items such as barbecue ribs, blueberry blintzes and Cajun shrimp. Dinner entrees include the filet mignon, grilled sliced London broil and the French Quarter Bay, which is Gulf shrimp with linguine.
