Burn Compact disks From Songza

Burn CDs Off of Songza

There is a way to find the music you crave. You can find just about any band, song or musician you want on Songza's seemingly infinite database. Songza is an "internet jukebox," and this means you can access their database from any computer with an Internet connection. Choose any song you want to hear, then download it to your hard disk, and you will be enjoying your new MP3 collection by the end of the day.

Instructions

1. Access Songza's website at http://songza.tv and find the "Login" option highlighted in yellow at the top, far right side of the website. If you do not have an account, click on "sign up" located in the same area.

2. Create a "Username," put in your password, add your e-mail address and click on "Create my account" after your information has been entered correctly. "You have successfully registered with Songza" will pop up in a shaded box to let you know that you did it correctly.

3. Notice an icon now where the "sign up" words were located before. Click on the underlined words "MY Profile." Fill in the rest of the information box, located on the left side of the web page.

4. Make a list of all of the songs you want. Write them down if you want. Keep a song journal that allows you to jot down any song you hear that you will want to go home and burn later. Locate the "search" box across from the information you just added. Type in an artist's name or a song you want. Note the drop down menu will pop up below the search box allowing you to easily customize your search. Click the "search" tab.

5. Note the songs on the left side of the page. Click on the song you want. Note the open box icon that pops up immediately with the words "play," "rate," "share" and "add to playlist." Click on "add to playlist" and the shadow box will pop up, telling you that you successfully added the song. Continue searching and adding songs until you have as many songs as you want to pay for (about $1 to $1.50 per song).

6. Run through all your songs and make sure they sound good. You may find that some songs are live recordings, and you can go back and find a radio version of the same song if you prefer a cleaner sound.

7. After playing your song, you will immediately see a You Tube video and a lot of options next to it. Click on "Buy MP3," then you will be escorted to a purchase page. Put in your credit card information and download the song. Put your songs into a multimedia software program where you can organize your playlist and burn MP3s from there.

8. Place a blank disk into the ROM drive when prompted and do not interrupt it while it burns.
