Convert A Koz File To Some Wma Or Perhaps An Mp3

You can burn MP3 and WMA files to CD.

One of the dozes of file extension types populating the Internet, KOZ files are meant to be played on cell phones but can also be saved on your computer for storage. Although these file types are accessible only by mobile devices, you can easily convert them to the more compatible WMA or MP3 file type. Using Apple's iTunes or the Music Match Jukebox programming, converting your KOZ file for free takes only minutes.

Instructions

Using iTunes

1. Download and install iTunes on your computer from the official Apple website and open the player on your computer.

2. Drag and drop your KOZ files from your computer's folders onto the main page iTunes library.

3. Select "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Import Settings" from the upper iTunes menu.

4. Select "Import Using:" and click either "MP3 Encoder" or "WMA Encoder" in the drop-down menu. Click "OK."

5. Right-click on your KOZ file in your iTunes library and select "Create MP3 Version" or "Create WMA Version" in the pop-up menu. This will create a new file of your song in your iTunes library in an MP3 or WMA format.

Using Music Match Jukebox

6. Download and launch the Music Match Jukebox of your desktop and select "Options" > "File" > "Convert" in the program's main menu.

7. Use the "Source Directory" window to select your KOZ file from the folder on your computer by clicking on it.

8. Select a folder in the "Destination Directory" window where you would like to store your converted file.

9. Select KOZ from the "Source Data Type" drop-down menu and select either "WMA" or "MP3" from the "Destination Data Type" drop-down menu.

10. Click "Start" and your new converted files will appear in the folder you selected in the "Destination Directory" menu.
