Clubs Near North Massapequa New You are able to

Grab a drink at one of the clubs in the North Massapequa area.


North Massapequa is a town on Long Island's south shore, in Nassau County, approximately 1 hour east of New York City. It is centered between Massapequa and Farmingdale, the latter being on the border of Suffolk County. Farmingdale State University and Molloy College's Farmingdale campus are located nearby and several clubs are located within a short drive from town. Whether you are looking for happy hour specials, a night out on the town, live music or a raucous dance party -- the North Massapequa area offers something for everyone.


Paddy's Loft


Paddy's Loft is located in Massapequa, just a 6-minute drive, 2 miles south of North Massapequa. It features a club-like atmosphere with live music on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and an Internet jukebox that allows patrons to become the DJ. The restaurant serves a variety of appetizers and entrees until the pub closes at 4 a.m.. Join Paddy's for Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Full catering is available, as well as beer specials and large screen TVs for watching major sporting events.


The Crazy Donkey


The Crazy Donkey is an 8-minute drive, 4 miles north of North Massapequa in Farmingdale. Since its 2002 opening, it has featured bands such as The Benjamins, New York Minute, The Mystic and The Big Orange Cone. The club has more than 6,000 square feet for dancing and features themed event nights periodically throughout the year. The club offers event catering and hosts bachelor/bachelorette parties and teen nights. The Crazy Donkey bills itself as "The Perfect Mix of Pub and Club" and features a full menu, Friday night Happy Hour and summer barbecues on the outside deck. The kitchen stays open until 1 a.m..


Changing Times Pub


The Changing Times Pub is across the street from Farmingdale State University and features live music nearly every weekend, football Sundays during the football season and drink specials throughout the week. As of January 2011, bands hit the stage at 9 p.m. on the scheduled evening (check their website for the most current schedule) and does not require a cover charge. Changing Times offers Happy Hour specials Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.


Mulcahy's Pub and Music Hall


Mulcahy's Pub and Music Hall in nearby Wantagh, is an 8-minute drive, 4 miles southwest of North Massapequa. Mulcahy's is a Long Island landmark that has been owned and operated by John Murray, Jr. since 1983. Part Irish pub, part nightclub, Mulcahy's serves a full menu and features Monday night dance parties, concerts and celebrity entertainment. Past acts include Bret Michaels, Third Eye Blind, Lifehouse, Weezer and Joan Jett. Stop in on Fridays from 3 until 8 p.m. for Mulcahy's Happy Hour buffet and drink specials.
