A Playlist To A Music Player

Playlists help organize the music on your MP3.

Listen to your favorite music, podcasts or books by taking them along on your MP3 player. You can easily transfer your playlist to your MP3 player with easy-to-use software. There are many software programs on the market that allow you to transfer music to your MP3 player. Here are directions for transferring music with two widely used programs: Windows Media Player and iTunes.

Instructions

Microsoft Windows Media Player

1. Open Microsoft Windows Media Player and click the "Sync" button on the top of the screen.

2. Select "Playlists" at the top left of the screen. Select the Playlist you want to sync to your MP3 player. The playlist will open in the center of the screen. Highlight the songs; click and drag them to the "Sync List" at the right of the page.

3. Connect your MP3 player to your computer and click "Start Sync" on the bottom right of the screen. Leave your MP3 player connected to your computer until your playlist has finished transferring to your device.

iTunes

4. Connect your MP3 to your computer to transfer playlists from iTunes.

5. Open iTunes and select your player at the left of the screen.

6. Select the music tab at the top of the screen. This tab opens your list of music and playlists. Select the playlist you want to add and select "Sync". Do not remove your player until your computer has completely transferred your playlist.
