Edit A Playlist In Home windows Media Player

Learn edit a playlist in Windows Media in just a few steps. Whether a song needs to be added or removed from a playlist for listening or before being burned to CD, Windows Media Player makes it quick and easy to do.


Instructions


1. Click on the "Start Menu" and place the mouse cursor over "All Programs". A window will appear with all the programs listed. Select the "Windows Media Player" by clicking on it.


2. Look at the top right of the Windows Media Player screen for the heading "Playlist". If the playlist to be edited is in that section, click on it and the songs should appear in the center window. If it is not listed in the playlist, click on the "Playlist" heading and all the playlists will appear. Choose the playlist that is to be edited and the songs will appear in the center of the screen.


3. Click on the button at the bottom of the screen that is labeled "Edit in List Pane". The songs will appear to the right of the screen.


4. To Remove a song, right click on the song and scroll down to "Remove From List". To add a song, click on "songs" on the left side of the screen under the "Library" heading. Move the cursor to the search box at the song and click on it. Type in the name of the song that needs to be added. Once the song appears, left click on it and drag it to the "List Pane".


5. To save the playlist, click on the bottom under the songs that is labeled "Save Playlist".
