The MP3 file format is common for music. MP3 players, computer CD drives and CD players are compatible with this file format. An MP3 file is placed on a CD by converting it into the CD format and burning it onto the CD. Programs such as Musicmatch Jukebox can do this.
Instructions
1. Download and install Musicmatch Jukebox onto your computer.
2. Open Musicmatch Jukebox by double-clicking on the desktop icon.
3. Insert a blank CD-RW disc into your CD/DVD drive.
4. Click the "Burn" button, which is located under the playlist window in Musicmatch Jukebox.
5. Click the "Add" button in the "Burner," located in the dialog box, and browse to your MP3 music files on your hard disk.
6. Click "Add" under the "Open Music" dialog box.
7. Check each individual song that you want to burn and uncheck those songs that you do not want to burn.
8. Click the "Burn" button, which is located in the "Burner" dialog box. The MP3 files you selected will be converted to the CD format and burned onto the blank disc, which you can use in any CD player.
