Use A New Skin To Some Xion Audio Player

The Xion Audio Player is a lightweight music jukebox for Windows. Designed as a simpler and easier alternative to iTunes and Windows Media Player, Xion is noted for having an active "skinning" community. Skins are unique user interfaces for the Xion player that give every user's player an eye-catching look.

Instructions

1. Download the Xion Media Player. You can find a link to it in the Resources section. The download is only available for PCs. You can also download the file as a ZIP if you want to transfer it using a USB hard drive.

2. Install the Xion software. Agree to the terms and conditions and choose an installation location. Xion will open automatically.

3. Visit the Xion Skins website. There's a link to it in the References section.

4. Scroll through the skins; there are hundreds of skins available for free download. Click the "Read More" button to get a better sense of what the skin will look like when installed.

5. Click the "Download This Skin" button to begin downloading. Once the download is complete, the skin will automatically be placed in the correct location for Xion to find it.

6. Return to the Xion program. The menu bar or menu will appear on screen.

7. Right click anywhere on the menu. Select the "Choose Skin" option near the top of the list.

8. Select the "All Skins" tab in the popup menu. Here you find every skin that you chose to download. Click on the skin you'd like to apply and click "Load Skin." The skin will now be applied to Xion.
