Picture of a night club.
Nightlife in Los Angeles is a hodgepodge of restaurants, bars and dance clubs filled with people from all walks of life. Los Angeles has become more diversified over the years, catering to the specific tastes of both men and women alike. For men specifically, local dance clubs have cropped up on the scene with extended happy hours, themed specials, male dancers, and popular DJs.
MJ's Bar
A 2009 nominee for the Best of LA Hotlist, MJ's Bar has events nearly every night of the week with themed titles like Party in the Pit Mondays--with a rock/alternative music theme, Club Nur on Thursdays, Fresh Meat Fridays--with male go-go dancers, and Friction Saturdays--when the club fills to the brim and the DJs spin all night long. The happy hour extends from 4 to 9 p.m. every night, when you can get a glass of Coastal Ridge Cabernet or Bad Dog Chardonnay for only $5.
