Sync videos to your iPod Classic without iTunes.
To update the firmware on your iPod Classic to restore your device or correct minor bugs, you have to use the default iTunes program. But you can use alternative media managers to synchronize videos, music and photos to your iPod. Third-party iPod managers enable to you copy media to and from your device, and provide the same features as iTunes, including the jukebox feature to play videos and music through the program.
Instructions
1. Download the third-party program to your computer, and double-click the program file to run the installation setup wizard.
2. Click the "Next" or "Continue" button and click the "Agree" button to complete the program installation.
3. Run the third-party program by double-clicking the program's icon on your desktop or your PC, or by opening the "Applications" folder in Finder on your Macintosh computer and double-clicking the program's icon.
4. Click the arrow on the first icon at the bottom of the program window, and click "Add Files to List" from the shortcut menu.
5. Double-click the video file you want to add to your iPod Classic in the "Add Files to List" window to import it.
6. Press and release "Command" and "E" on your Macintosh keyboard to eject the iPod from the computer once the transfer is complete, or double-click the "My Computer" icon on your PC's desktop and right-click the iPod icon. Click "Eject" from the shortcut menu.
