Columbus, Ohio, has a wide variety of bars.
Columbus, Ohio, is a veritable melting pot of cultural and economic demographics, and home to one of the largest universities in the nation. It also sports several separate districts with their own characteristics. The Columbus bar scene has a lot to offer and variety is not lacking. Drinking does not have to be the main attraction for visiting some of these bars--many are also known for their excellent food, service, gaming, music and television viewing. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Betty's Fine Food & Spirits
Exemplifying the Short North District's tendency toward quirky, Betty's attracts a wide mix, from banker types for lunch to an eclectic late night crowd. Betty's has on display a collection of 1940s to 1960s era pinup art, and porcelain animal statues over the bar. Sandwiches like a veggie melt on whole wheat, and pastas like "happy pumpkin ravioli" round out the menu. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays.
