Load The Nomad Firmware For Jukebox

The Nomad Jukebox was a line of MP3 players released between 2000 and 2004 by Creative Technology. The Jukeboxes were hard-drive based and appear as mass storage devices to the Windows operating system, allowing the user to use the digital audio player as an external hard drive as well. If you still have a Nomad Jukebox on hand, you'll want to ensure that the device is running the latest firmware released by Creative, to ensure it continues to run properly throughout its golden years.

Instructions

1. Visit Creative's Support site and download the last released firmware update for the Nomad Jukebox. See Resources for a link. Save the file to your desktop.

2. Connect the Nomad to the computer via the included cable.

3. Double-click the downloaded firmware file. This will launch the firmware installer.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed through the installation. Once the installation completes, you can disconnect your Nomad Jukebox or add additional music files to the device.
