Totally reset The Administrator Password On Itunes

Apple's popular iTunes program allows you to easily purchase and download music, podcast and movie files that you can transfer and sync onto your iPod. In order to purchase, manage and maintain your media library, Apple requires every user to create a password-protected account that is associated with each iTunes program installed on a computer. If you have forgotten the password that is associated with your iTunes administrator account, Apple provides two easy options for resetting it.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes. In the left navigation panel, select "iTunes Store." Go to the top right corner of the main page and click "Sign in."

2. Click the "Forgot Password?" tab in the sign-in pop-up box. Your web browser should immediately open to Apple's Password Retrieval page. Enter the email address associated with your iTunes administrator account into the "Apple ID" field and click "Continue."

3. Choose between the two options Apple will present for resetting your password. If you want to receive directions on access your account information via the email address you provided, select the first option by clicking "Send email." If you no longer have access to your email account, Apple allows you to reset your password by answering a security question you originally provided when you first set up your iTunes account. Select this second option by clicking the "Answer Question" button.

This link expires three hours after the message is sent. On the password reset page, enter your new password twice in the provided fields and click "Change Password."
