Burn Music To Tunes

Burn music to your MP3 player in a few simple steps.

With the advent of the Internet, music lovers can now download music and save it to MP3 devices. This has become a convenient way for people to get hold of a copy of their favorite MP3 songs and listen to them any time they want. Burning music to MP3 devices is a simple task that can be accomplished by anyone.

Instructions

1. Use the USB cable that comes with the MP3 player to connect the device to the computer. Plug one end of the cable into the mini USB port of the device and the other end into a USB port of your computer. The computer should recognize the device as a "removable disk" once it is connected.

2. Install the music software disk that comes with the MP3 player. This software allows you to manage your music files. Insert the CD into the optical drive of your computer and complete the installation process. Note that not all MP3 players require you to install music management software. This will depend on the brand of MP3 device you are using.

3. Eject the music software disk and insert the CD or DVD that contains the music files that you want to copy, and then launch your music management software. Navigate to the main menu of the software and select "Rip CD" or something similar. Wait for the ripping process to complete. Copy the files that you want to transfer to your MP3 device.

4. If you are not using music management software, simply navigate to your CD/DVD drive and copy the files from there. MP3 files are those whose file names end in ".mp3." If your MP3 files are in a local drive in your computer, navigate to that drive and copy the files.

5. Navigate to your "removable drive" or the drive for your MP3 device. Browse the folders inside the drive until you find the music folder. Open the folder and paste the files that you copied earlier. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the files from their location onto the "removable drive."

6. If you are using a music software manager, refer to your MP3 device manual to know the specific process on properly disconnect the device the device from the computer. Alternatively, you can right-click the green arrow in the system tray to properly disconnect the device. When you are prompted that you can safely remove the device, unplug the USB cable from the USB port.
