The Canon HF100 is a digital camcorder that has the ability to shoot videos in high-definition. This digital camcorder also has a direct USB port that allows you to connect your HF100 to your computer directly. You can transfer both video and still image files via the USB cable. You'll need to have the software that came with your Canon HF100 installed on your computer.
Instructions
1. Connect your Canon HF100 to your computer using the USB cable that came with the camcorder. The USB port is on the right side of the camcorder.
2. Launch Pixela ImageMixer 3 SE on your computer if it didn't automatically open when you connected your camcorder to your computer.
3. Click the "Save files to PC" button on the initial window of the ImageMixer software.
4. Click the option labeled "Canon" in the left pane. This displays the videos that are stored on your camcorder.
5. Select a video or videos from the right pane. To select multiple videos, select one video, click the "Shift" button and select another video.
6. Click the "Save" button in the lower-right corner of the software. Select "Execute" when presented with a pop-up dialog box confirming that you want to transfer the videos to your computer.
