Most computers
today have a built-in DVD-ROM for watching movies.
You can watch movies on your computer as long as it has a DVD-ROM and a media player. Most manufacturers automatically build laptops to include both of these items, so unless you have a PC that was made before 2000, you should have no problem opening your media player and watching a DVD.
Instructions
1. Press the eject button on the side of your PC.
2. Insert your DVD into the DVD-ROM and press down lightly, to ensure the DVD is in place. Close the door by pushing it inward. A window should pop up indicating it is in the DVD drive.
3. Click "Open" to open your Windows Media Player. Most computers have will have a media player installed. Alternatively, you can download a media player.
4. Click "Start" and enter "Media Player" in the search box if it doesn't automatically open. Click on the media player you want to open.
5. Select the movie from the display panel if you had to manually open your media player.
6. Click "Play DVD Video" and select "OK." Your movie should automatically begin playing.
