San Bernardino is a busy city in California about 60 miles inland from Los Angeles. The city has emerged from its beginnings as a commuter area into a culturally diverse region with its own style of entertainment. Its nightlife includes an eclectic mix of night clubs featuring entertainment to suit all tastes from Latin music to house, country and rock, with some clubs blending styles to create new dances and trends.
Brandin' Iron Saloon & Dance Hall
The Brandin' Iron Saloon & Dance Hall is an old-style honky-tonk saloon with a huge wood dance floor that can fit hundreds of dancers. The resident DJ plays a mix of techno, house, hip hop, classic rock and modern country music for the dancers. This 13,000-square-foot club frequently plays host to well-known country stars. Line dances may be accompanied by any of the genres of music. Dancing classes are held on Saturdays to bring newcomers up to speed. The club is family friendly, hosting Family Days on Sundays. The club requests that guests arrive suitably dressed in clubbing or country wear. Hours are from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. every day, except Sunday. On Sunday, the club opens at 2 p.m.

El Palacio
El Palacio is a busy Latin dance club with live music. House and reggae music alternates with traditional and modern Latin sounds. Merengue and salsa bands play regularly, and every Saturday night features cumbia sonidera music. Regulars know to watch for the occasional big-name artist dropping in to join the bands onstage. Shows featuring well-known Latin recording artists are packed to the limits, and arriving early is recommended. The action takes place around a large dance floor, which gets busy around 9 p.m. each night. Resting at tables placed around the sides of the floor, guests enjoy special offers, such as 2-for-1 margaritas after 10 p.m. El Palacio hours vary, depending on events. Stinger's Bar and Night Club
Stinger's Bar and Night Club is a big venue with a different theme each night, such as college, '80s music, Latin or sports. R&B, rock and reggae music all get equal play time for guests enjoying the big dance floor. Live bands play on the weekends. Entertainment includes free pool tables, an Internet jukebox, big-screen TVs for sports fans, live music and special events hosted by local radio stations. Draught and bottled beer, both domestic and imported, are available. Stinger's offers a menu of reasonably priced food such as Mexican and vegetarian pizzas, a selection of burgers, wraps and wings, plus all of the usual bar snacks like quesadillas and chips and dips. Stinger's is open from 2 a.m. and 2 p.m., depending on events.
