Delete songs from a Philip MP3 media player.
A Philip MP3 media player is operated like many MP3 media players. Songs are loaded onto it and deleted from it via computer, allowing you to customize the device so that you can have whatever music you want on it anywhere you go without having to lug around clunky CDs. Depending upon the storage capacity of your Philip MP3 media player, you might have to delete songs periodically in order to load new music onto it. The process to delete songs from a Philip MP3 media player requires only the most basic computer skills.
Instructions
1. Plug the USB cable that came with your Philip MP3 media player into the MP3 media player, and then plug the other end of the cable into your computer's USB port.
2. Open the Philip MP3 media player drive to view the songs currently on the media player by clicking on "Start," "My Computer," and then the "USB Mass Storage Drive."
3. Click on the "Library" folder, and then search for the songs that you wish to delete by clicking on artist and album folders to locate the individual songs.
4. Click on the song you would like to delete to highlight it, and then press the delete (Del) key to delete it.
