See The Number Of Tunes Have Been In Home windows Media Player

Windows Media
Player is the default media player for the Windows operating system. In previous versions of Windows Media player, you could view the total number of songs in your media library, along with the total time of those tracks, by default in the bottom of the displayed list of tracks. Developers removed this feature in Windows Media Player 11; however, you can still view the total number of songs in your Windows Media Player library using a different technique.

Instructions

1. Double-click the "Windows Media Player" icon on your computer desktop or click on "Start," "Programs" and click on the Windows Media Player program to open it.

2. Click the "Library" tab at the top of the program window.

3. Click on the "+" icon next to "Library" on the left side of the program window to expand the selection. Click on "Songs" beneath "Library" to view all songs within the Media Player library.

4. Click on any one of the titles in the list on the right to select it.

5. Press and hold the "Ctrl" button on the keyboard and press "A." This selects all songs in the Media Player library and displays the number of songs along with the total time in hours, minutes and seconds in the bottom-right corner of the program window (to the right of the Volume slider). Note that the number of tracks and total time disappears after approximately seven seconds. Repeat this step to see the total tracks again.
