The Dell Jukebox is a portable digital music player that connects to your computer with a USB data cable. On computers with a Microsoft operating system, you can transfer music from the software application Windows Media Player, which manages audio files on the PC, to the Dell Jukebox. Syncing the two devices enables the computer to communicate with the Dell for uploading digital music to the portable device. The data cable comes with the Dell.
Instructions
1. Turn off the Jukebox by holding the power button.
2. Insert the smaller of the two plugs on your data cable into the socket on the side of the Dell Jukebox.
3. Plug in the other end of the cable to a USB port on your PC.
4. Click the "Start" button on the desktop's lower left corner to choose "All Programs" and click twice on "Windows Media Player."
5. Click the "Sync" option at the top of the Media Player screen. Windows will detect the Dell Jukebox and display a message that the PC is ready to communicate with the portable audio player.
