You can transfer MP3s from your computer for listening on-the-move if you have a Dell Digital Jukebox DJ. You can transfer these songs using the Dell software, but if you are accustomed to using Windows Media Player, you may prefer it instead. Windows Media Player 11 has the ability to sync with portable media devices, such as the Dell Digital Jukebox DJ. You first need to set up the sync, and then choose the songs to transfer.
Instructions
1. Open "Windows Media Player." Connect your Dell Digital Jukebox DJ via the USB cable to your computer.
2. Wait to see if Windows Media Player automatically detects and syncs with the device. Click "Finish."
3. Click the "Sync" drop-down menu, then "Portable media device." Click "Set Up Sync." Choose the playlists that you want to add. Click "Finish."
4. Click "Sync." Click-and-drag files to your portable media device that are not in playlists.
5. Click "Start Sync" to transfer your audio.
