Add a jukebox on your profile page to create virtual ambiance.
Many social networking websites, such as MySpace, Facebook, Ning and Orkut, allow you to customize your profile page to suit your personality. One way to make your page stand out is to add a music jukebox, also referred to as a music playlist. By adding a music playlist to your profile page, you will create a virtual ambiance for your page visitors that, otherwise, would not be experienced.
Instructions
1. Sign up for an account with a site that allows you to create your own music playlist. In most cases, there is no cost to create an account. Sites that allow you to create your own music playlist include MixPod, Hypster, 123 Playlist and Playlist.
2. Log into your playlist account. Select the option to create a new playlist.
3. Add songs to your playlist. Some providers, such as MixPod and Hypster, will allow you to upload songs from your computer. Other providers, such as 123 Playlist and Playlist, will only allow you to choose from an existing database of songs. To search for database songs, enter the artist's name or song title in the designated search box.
4. Select the option to copy the "embed code" for your playlist. When the code box is revealed, press "Ctrl" + "C" simultaneously on your keyboard to copy the code.
5. Log into your profile page where you want to add the music jukebox. Paste the embed code for your playlist into the profile editor box by pressing "Ctrl" + "V" simultaneously on your keyboard.
If your profile page does not allow you to paste HTML code, you can still add the jukebox to your profile page. To do so, log back into your playlist account. Select the "Share" option. Click the button for the social networking profile to which you would like to add the jukebox. In most cases, you will be required to enter your page's username and password.
