You can customize the look of your Xion Media Player with skins.
Windows supports a lightweight music player called the Xion Media Player. It is made for people who have a difficult time using complex players such as Windows Media Player and iTunes. This audio player is known for having a very active "skinning" community. Users can customize their audio players with skins that make their players look aesthetically pleasing.
Instructions
1. Download the files for installing Xion Media Player (see References). This software is only compatible with Windows.
2. Install the software for Xion's audio player while reading and agreeing to their terms and conditions. The program will automatically open when the installation is complete.
3. Go to the Xion Skins website.
4. Pick a skin that you like. There are hundreds that you can download for free. To get a better view of what each of the skins will look like after you install it, click the "Read More" button.
5. Download the skin by clicking "Download This Skin." Upon downloading the skin, it will automatically be located in the correct directory for Xion to access it.
6. Go back to your Xion audio player. You will see a menu bar or the menu button on the screen.
7. Right-click on the menu. Click "Choose Skin" from the list of options. It should be one of the first options on the list.
8. Click on the "All Skins" tab in the menu that pops up. There will be all of the skins that you downloaded. Choose the skin that you would like to use. To apply the settings, click on "Load Skin." Your player will now be customized.
