Replace A Wurlitzer 2100 Cartridge

A jukebox, such as a Wurlitzer 2100 model, is a fun addition to a home or business. These jukeboxes are large units, but essentially they function like a turntable. There is a tone arm, just like on a turntable, which has a cartridge connected to the end of it that holds the needle. These cartridges can be removed and replaced in a similar fashion to one on a turntable.

Instructions

1. Slide the front panel off the Wurlitzer in order to access the tone arm.

2. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the bottom of the cartridge that is securing it to the tone arm. Pull the cartridge slightly off the tone arm to expose the wires running from the end of the tone arm to the back of the cartridge.

3. Unplug the wires from the back of the cartridge, and set the cartridge aside.

4. Plug the wires into the ports on the back of a new cartridge, and fit the cartridge over the end of the tone arm.

5. Replace the cartridge screw and the front panel of the Wurlitzer.
