Bar Crawl Scavenger Hunt Ideas
Birthdays are a special day, no matter how old you are. A fun way to celebrate is by having a bar crawl scavenger hunt. You and a group of loved ones go from bar to bar collecting or fulfilling items on a list. You and your group, as well as the strangers you come in contact with are sure to have a lot of fun celebrating your birthday in this way. Be sure to take a camera along to capture the memories of this fun-filled night. It is also important that you contact the bars you are going to visit before hand to get permission for these activities to occur.
Sign the Shirt
Purchase a t-shirt and sew a string to it that has a marker attached. The celebrant wears this shirt with a goal of acquiring a set amount of signatures that have been predetermined. Signatures must be acquired from each bar visited.
Collect Beer Caps
Players are given a list of beers. They must collect beer caps from each bar they visit until the list is complete.
Unique Birthday Card
The birthday celebrant has to collect a card from a stranger that he or she met at one of the bars that were visited. The stranger has to create the card out of only the materials that are available at the bar.
Stranger Serenade
The celebrant has to be serenaded by a complete stranger that is met at one of the bars visited. To prove that this serenade occurred, snap a photo and share it with friends.
Autographed Glass
Collect a glass autographed by one of the bartenders you come into contact with throughout the evening. Have him or her write a nice birthday message on the glass.
Collection of Coasters
Collect a predetermined number of coasters from each bar that you visit.
Have the Entire Bar Sing
Convince the bartenders to allow you to stand up on the bar as the entire bar crowd sings "Happy Birthday to You." Snap a picture of this event to document that it actually occurred.
Give a Man a Makeover
Convince a total stranger to allow you to give him a makeover. The makeover includes a full face of makeup-eye shadow, mascara, blush and lipstick. He must also allow you to style his hair and restyle his clothing as you see fit. A snapshot is in order for this one.
Drink of the Night
Once you have become friendly with the bartenders, ask them to create a special drink of the night for your birthday. Of course, the drink has to be named for you. Once it is created, you have to convince five people to purchase the drink.
Put on a Show
You and your friends take center stage in this activity. Select a song from the jukebox or have the band play a specific song. You and your friends stand in front of the crowd and put on a performance to the song, complete with vocals and dance moves.
Designate a Driver
To ensure that everyone involved travels safely throughout the evening, be sure to arrange a designated driver. Ask a friend who is not going to drink to be your taxi for the evening or hire a car service to drive you around for the night. If mass transit is readily available in your area, use it as your means of travel.
Get Permission
Always let the bartender know what you're doing and get his permission before starting any of these games.
