Connect An Ipod device To Some Yamaha Speaker Bar

The Yamaha speaker bar is a long, thin speaker system that typically is connected to a television because it can sit on top of the set. However, many individuals store music libraries on their iPods, and if you are one of those people you may want to connect your iPod directly to the Yamaha speaker bar. This is a fairly straightforward task that can be accomplished in only a few moments.

Instructions

1. Insert the iPod into the iPod dock on the Yamaha speaker bar if it has one, or connect the iPod through its bottom port to the accompanying cable otherwise. Depending on the model, the speaker bar will either have a dock directly above the control panel or a cable that runs from the back of the device.

2. Power on the Yamaha speaker bar, then do the same with your iPod.

3. Select the music you want to play through the screen display on the iPod. Press the "Play" button and you should hear music through the speaker bar.
