Copy Dvd Movies To Apple iphone

Copy DVDs to your iPhone with proper software.

Copying a DVD to your iPhone can be a difficult process if you don't have the proper burning software. DVD converting and burning software such as DVD to iPhone ripper, Clone DVD and DVD Fab make it possible for you to rip DVDs, both copy-protected and burned, then upload them to your iPhone. When copying DVD movies to your iPhone, you must have five items: iTunes, the phone, USB-to-iPhone connection cord, DVDs and the proper software. Although you can use media players such as Windows Media Player and MusicMatch Jukebox, iTunes automatically syncs media to your iPhone. To copy a DVD to your iPhone, you must first convert the DVD to an MP4 format before transferring the movie to your iTunes media player.

Instructions

Converting the DVD

1. Open your software program for converting and burning the DVD. Connect one side of the USB cord to the computer and the other side to your iPhone. Purchase or download a free trial version of the software if you don't already have it.

2. Select the device you're going to use by clicking "Output" and then "iPod/iPhone" on the main start-up screen. Insert the DVD into the DVD-ROM drive on your computer. Then find the DVD file on your computer by selecting the proper drive, usually "D:" or "E:", under the "Add" tab located at the top.

3. Select the DVD movie name from the list and click the boxes for the movie chapters you want to convert. Click the "Next" button located at the bottom of the screen. Select the "Audio Stream" language of your choice, such as "English Dolby AC 3/2." Then choose whether you want subtitles under the "Subtitles" tab. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.

4. Click "Output Method" from the drop-down menu and set the "Resolution" to "428x320." Set the "Video Quality" slider between 20 and 25. Type in the name of the movie under the "Label" tab. Save the file by clicking "File" and then "Save As." Click the "Go" or "Convert" button located at the bottom of the screen, if you are satisfied with all the movie options. Wait for the movie to convert.

Transferring to iPhone

5. Open iTunes and import your converted movie file by selecting "File" and then "Import." Wait for iTunes to recognize your device. If it doesn't recognize your device, unplug the USB cable and try reconnecting.

6. Select your device on the left side of the iTunes interface and click on the "Video" tab. Un-select all previous movies you have listed on iTunes, and then select the box next to the movie you converted.

7. Click the "Sync" button located at the bottom right of the screen. Wait for the movie to transfer to your iPhone before unplugging.
