Dvd Info On Media Player 11

Making DVDs can be a lot of fun. Thanks to the strides in digital technology, you don't have to purchase expensive software to make a professional quality DVD. You can add special effects and music and do you just about anything you can think of during the editing process. The only drawback to a homemade DVD is that when you load it into Media Player 11, the program quite often does not recognize the title of your DVD or the chapter names. Thankfully, that is easily fixed.


Instructions


1. Insert your DVD into your computer's DVD drive.


2. Click on "play DVD using Windows Media Player" from the pop-up menu. If your computer does not automatically pop-up a window of media choices, then your can perform the operation manually.


3. Right-click on the word "Title", scroll down to where is says "Find DVD info" and click on it.


4. Type a symbol or a letter or a word into the search bar and click on the "Next" button. At this point you are just trying to get to the next step.


5. Click on the "Next" button again when you see "The DVD I'm looking for is not here".


6. Fill out the information bars. You will be asked for the title of the DVD, director, performers, genre, studio and date of release. You can also fill in the name of the chapters. Click on "Next" when completed.


7. Look through the information that your provided to make sure that it is correct. If it is incorrect, then click on the back button and make the necessary changes. If it is correct, click on the "Finish" button. Media Player will update the information immediately.
