Use Amazon's free jukebox to add excitement to your website.
Imagine a full-featured, visually stunning miniature jukebox playing all the latest hit songs on your website for free. Amazon lets users add small snippets of JavaScript to their websites to create such a player. Populate it with your favorite albums and songs or let Amazon supply your player with the hottest new releases automatically. Each song clip plays 30 seconds, but your website visitors will still enjoy the music, visuals, cover art, album notes and exciting media experience that Amazon's music player adds to your website.
Instructions
1. Visit Amazon's "MP3 Clips Widget" web page (see Resources). Enter the name of a song or album and click "Go." Amazon will display a list of songs and albums that match your search criteria. Click the "Add" button next to a song or Album that you want to appear in your music player. Continue to search for music and add it to the player. When you finish, click "Next Step."
2. Click on the designated icons to select a format for the player. The choices are Sidebar, Large and Compact. Select the size of the player and color theme by clicking the designated icons. As you tailor the player, you will see a preview on the right of the screen. Enter a title for the player and click "Add To My Web Page."
3. Click "Agree" and then click "Copy." This will copy the player's HTML code to the Windows clipboard.
4. Paste the code in your web page's HTML file at the location where you want the player to appear.
5. Save the file and open it in your browser. Click the "Play" button next to one of the songs that you added and it will play. You also will see album art and comments about the currently playing song. Create multiple players by repeating the creation process and adding them to your HTML code.
