How Can You Come On Player Tunes Onto An Ipod device

RealPlayer songs use the RA, or Real Audio, file format. While the RA format is recognized by many media players, it is not widely recognized on personal media devices like iPods. If you want to use a RealPlayer song file on your iPod, you must first convert the RA file into a file type that the iPod accepts. MP3 is a common file type that all varieties of iPod can store and read.

Instructions

Convert RA files to MP3

1. Go to Media-Convert, Zamzar or YouConvertIt. Any of these online systems can convert RA files into MP3s.

2. Click the "Browse" button to upload your RA audio file into the converter. When the window pops up, find the file and double click it to upload.

3. Pull down the list next to "Output format" to see the available output file formats. Scroll to the "Audio Formats" section and select "MP3."

4. Enter an email address in the provided email box and click "OK." The file converts into an MP3.

5. Go to your email inbox. Open the email from the media converter website. Click on the download link provided in the email to download the MP3 to your computer.

Upload with iTunes

6. Plug your iPod into the computer using the provided USB cable and launch iTunes on your computer. If you do not have iTunes installed, download it for free at Apple and install the program onto your computer.

7. Load the MP3 file that you converted from the RA file into iTunes. To load the file into iTunes, click "File" and choose "Add to Library" or "Add File to Library."

8. Go to the MP3 file that you want to add to iTunes in the window that comes up. Click on the file in the window and click "OK" to import the MP3 into iTunes.

9. Click the "Music" tab in the iTunes window. Scroll down to find the MP3 file that you just imported.

10. Drag the MP3 file from the "Music" pane to the iPod icon in the "Device" pane of iTunes. The MP3 copies onto the iPod. Once you have copied all of the songs you want to copy to the iPod, click the eject button to the right of the iPod in the device pane to safely disconnect the iPod from the system.
