Install the Memory Card for the HTC Touch Pro
The HTC Touch Pro is a mobile phone and Pocket PC device that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and is equipped with a MicroSD card slot. The internal storage capacity of the Touch Pro is limited in capacity. However, the MicroSD card slot allows users to expand the storage capacity to 32 GB. With MicroSD cards, users can add music, video and image files to the device. A single card has the ability to turn the HTC Touch Pro into a multimedia jukebox.
Instructions
1. Hold down the power button, located on the top of the device. A warning dialog box will appear on the screen. Tap the "OK" button to shut off the device.
2. Place the HTC Touch Pro on a flat surface with the screen facing down. Using your thumbs, push up gently on the battery door to release it.
3. Locate the MicroSD card slot, near the top left-hand side of the device. Insert the MicroSD card with the gold prongs facing down.
4. Place the battery door back onto the device and hold the power button down until the screen comes on.
5. Confirm the MicroSD card is installed properly by tapping the Start Menu and then Settings. Tap the System tab on the bottom and choose Memory. Tap the Storage Card tab and verify the card is inserted.
