Keeping supplies organized is important when scrapbooking.
Scrapbooking and card making is a craft which utilizes an assortment of tools, supplies and items. Keeping everything neat and organized helps ensure you will be able to locate the items you need to complete a project. Cricut machines which create paper die cuts, work from a cartridge system that allows users to change the design produced by the machine. With ample cartridges available, keeping the Cricut cartridges organized helps make using Cricut machines more enjoyable.
Instructions
1. Save all original Cricut cartridge boxes and instructional manuals. Store all cartridges in the original boxes. Place each cartridge side by side inside the shoebox or plastic container. Ensure the descriptive side of each cartridge box is facing outward as it includes the name of the cartridge and illustrations of the die-cut designs. Use identical boxes for storing additional cartridges. Stack the boxes for easy organization. Organize boxes based on theme, holiday or celebration. Label to the top of boxes accordingly.
2. Store six frequently used Cricut cartridges and key overlay books in one binder for a portable storage solution. This works well if you use the Cricut Jukebox which allows for six cartridges to be used at once. Insert six zippered pencil holders into a wide three-ring binder. Store one cartridge and keyboard overlay instruction book inside each pencil holder.
3. Craft a Cricut cartridge storage box for all cartridges owned. Purchase craft trays designed to hold small crafting supplies. Fill the trays with one cartridge per compartment and stack the trays inside a plastic storage bin with a lid. Print the name of the cartridge, using a label maker. Place the label on the inside-bottom of the compartment where the cartridge will be stored. In a separate box, line up all instruction manuals with the wire-bound side on the top. Alphabetize them for easy access.
