Play videos with the JW FLV player.
The JW FLV media player is a Windows-based video player focusing in on flash videos, H.264 compressed videos and MP4 and MP3 files. The program is available for free download and instantly gives your computer the ability to play some of the most popular video file formats that aren't compatible with many of the more popular media players (such as QuickTime and Windows Media Player).
Instructions
1. Download and install JW FLV if it isn't currently on the computer. A free copy is available on the LongTailVideo website.
2. Double-click the program icon or select it from "Start," "All Programs" and choose the JW FLV media player icon.
3. Click "File," "Open" once the media player loads onto the program screen. Select the video file you want to view and click "OK." In a moment the video loads onto the screen.
4. Click "Play" on the media player and the video plays. Click the "Play" button again to pause the video. Stop the video completely by clicking the "Stop" button in the lower left corner of the program window.
5. Increase the audio volume by clicking on the audio icon in the lower right corner of the program screen, then dragging the audio display up (or down to decrease the audio)
