Transfer A Compact disc For An Mp3 Using The Musicmatch Jukebox

MusicMatch Jukebox is similar to Microsoft's Windows Media Player or Apple's iTunes: it lets you listen to audio files and watch video files within the same program window. You can also use MusicMatch Jukebox to transfer the contents of a compact disc (this process is called "ripping") to your computer's hard drive--in the form of MP3 audio files.

Instructions

1. Select the Windows "Start" button, then "Programs," then "MusicMatch Jukebox."

2. Place the CD that you'd like to transfer to your computer into your CD-ROM drive.

3. Click on the "Record" button to open MusicMatch Jukebox's CD ripping utility.

4. Check the box next to the name of any song you'd like to transfer to your computer and store as an MP3 file. You can choose to select only certain songs from the disc or all of the songs. The default encoding format of MusicMatch Jukebox is the MP3 file format, so you don't need to do anything to specify you'd like your songs to be created in this format.

5. Click the "Rip" button. The songs from the audio CD in your CD-ROM drive will be transferred to your computer and stored as MP3 audio files.
