Activate Unify Karaoke

Karaoke is an ideal icebreaker.

A karaoke machine plays music and features a microphone and a printout of lyrics that allows fun seekers to sing their favorite tunes in front of others. Karaoke is an ideal icebreaker that allows those who can sing well and those who wish they could sing well to have fun. Karaoke is now available as software for most Windows based computers, and you can turn your computer into a party machine easily with Unify Karaoke, once the software is activated.

Instructions

1. Plug your computer into a working electrical outlet or, if using a laptop, make sure that the battery is charged or you are using the AC adapter.

2. Power on you computer. Locate the disk that comes with the Unify Karaoke software and remove the protective covering. Hold the disk by the edges and insert into the CD drive on your computer.

3. Click on the disk to open it when it appears on your desktop. Choose the "Setup Assistant" and follow the directions that apply to your particular computer.

4. Download the free trial version of the Unify Karaoke software if you have not purchased it yet. You can use it out for 30 days and determine if you like it. After 30 days you simply pay for the full version, and you will get an email from Unify with your key code. Go to the "Source" section below the article and click on the link for "Free Trial Version." Follow the installation directions that will appear on your screen.

5. Finish using the "Setup Assistant" and click "OK" to save everything you have entered. If you have purchased the software, you will find a key code on the software package or in an email you will have received from Unify.

6. Go to Windows and open. Click on "Start." Locate "Program Files" in the next window and click it open. A menu will give you several options. Choose "Unify Karaoke Jukebox" and click it open. You will see a window says "Software Registration." Click on this and you will be asked to enter your key code, which is your serial number.

7. Enter the number exactly as it appears on the box or in the email. Check to make sure you have not left out any numbers and click "OK." Just follow the directions to get your karaoke program up and running.
