You can adhere die-cut letters to cards, walls and many other surfaces.
Crafters and scrapbook artists rely on Cricut and other die-cut machines to provide a wide range of shapes and letters for their projects. While most machines come with special adhesive-backed paper, you can use a variety of other papers in your Cricut machine. Spray adhesive will adhere Cricut lettering to most surfaces without wrinkles, drips or sticky hands. Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area when using spray adhesives.
Instructions
1. Choose a multi-purpose spray adhesive for regular paper. If you want to glue vellum letters to another surface, use a special spray adhesive for vellum.
2. Set up a workstation in a well-ventilated area. Protect a table or other flat work surface with newspaper. Place your Cricut letters face down on the newspaper.
3. Shake the can of spray adhesive, following the manufacturer's directions. Hold the can upright approximately 6 to 8 inches away from your letters. Spray the back of the letters to achieve a thin, uniform coating of adhesive. Do not spray too much adhesive or it may bleed through the paper when adhered.
4. Allow the adhesive to set for about 30 seconds. Carefully pick up the letters with your fingers or a pair of tweezers, and arrange them on the surface of your choice. Review the placement of the letters, and reposition them if necessary. Apply even pressure to adhere the letters.
