South Jersey's bar scene covers everything from sport bars to fancy nightclubs.
The section of New Jersey below the Delaware River, known as South Jersey, is surrounded by metropolitan areas with bustling nightlife scenes. New York City and Philadelphia lie to the north and south. Atlantic City is on the shore of South Jersey. Yet several South Jersey neighborhoods have bars that draw regular crowds each night of the week. South Jersey bars have a lot of competition, they need to rely on their loyal locals. A Nice Little Bar
A Nice Little Bar is in Camden, New Jersey. A fairly new addition to the South Jersey area, the bar has been open for about a year. Both a family restaurant and a bar, A Nice Little Bar features a full menu of burgers, seafood, chicken and many appetizers and side dishes. The bar has a pool table, touch-screen trivia machines, a jukebox and a big-screen TV. Wednesday nights at A Nice Little Bar feature live jazz, and a DJ plays music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

32 Degrees Luxe Lounge
32 Degrees Luxe Lounge is an upscale nightclub located in Atlantic City's Quarter at Tropicana Casino and Resort. The club serves premium cocktails only, with European bottle service available. Guests can mix their own drinks, with bottles of liquor, mixers and garnishes served directly to their table. 32 Degrees also sells shots in glasses made of ice, and rents lockers for guests to leave bottles of liquor for when they return to the club. 32 Degrees is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and the dress code is fashionable. No hats, t-shirts, jerseys or sneakers are allowed.

Heavy's On The Harbor
Heavy's On The Harbor is in Gloucester City. Heavy's sits on the Delaware River, and was formerly known as the Mansion House. The spot has been a bar since 1909, and before that it was a hotel. Its rich history boasts the fact that Betsy Ross was married and honeymooned in the hotel. Heavy's has a full menu of sandwiches, steaks, seafood and more. The rustic pub is open seven days a week and has live music on Saturday nights.

PJ Whelihan's Pub
PJ Whelihan's Pub is in Cherry Hill. The sports bar atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and with a capacity of 300 people, it won't feel stuffy and over crowded. The pub has 21 televisions located all around the bar so there is always a good view of the big game. The menu is classic American fare, with sandwiches, salads and wings among the favorites. PJ Whelihan's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with happy hour and drink specials offered daily.
