Burn 100 Tunes On 1 Compact disc

A data CD can hold 100 songs.

CDs can help transfer files between computers. A blank CD can typically hold about 74 to 80 minutes of music, which is generally not enough to hold 100 songs. But, a blank CD can also hold as much as 700 megabytes of data, which is usually more than enough for 100 songs. So the way to burn 100 songs on one CD is to do it as a data CD and not as an audio CD. A data CD won't play on most music players, but can be used to transfer music from one computer to another.

Instructions

iTunes

1. Insert a blank CD into the computer.

2. Open iTunes.

3. Click the "File" menu and select "New Playlist." Give your playlist a name.

4. Click on the "Music" button under the "Library" list in the top part of the left column menu in iTunes. Find the 100 songs you'd like to burn onto one CD. Click each song, and while holding down the clicking button on the mouse, drag it over to the playlist name in the left column menu. Let go of the mouse to drop the song into the playlist.

5. Click on the playlist name to view the playlist. Click the "Burn Disc" button in the bottom right corner. Click the circle next to "Data CD or DVD." Click the "Burn" button and the 100 songs will be burned onto one CD.

Windows Media Player

6. Insert a blank CD into the computer.

7. Open Windows Media Player.

8. Click the dropdown menu under the "Burn" button at the top of Windows Media Player. Click "Data CD."

9. Click the "Burn" button. The "Burn List" will appear on the right side of Windows Media Player. Find the 100 songs you want to burn onto one CD in the library in the middle of Windows Media Player. Click each song and drag the file over to the "Burn List." Release the click to drop the file into the "Burn List."

10. Click the "Start Burn" button at the bottom of the "Burn List." The 100 songs will be burned onto one CD.

RealPlayer

11. Insert a blank CD into the computer.

12. Open RealPlayer.

13. Click the "Burn" button found at the top of RealPlayer which will bring up the "Tasks" column. Next to No. 1, click the button that says "Select CD Type." A "CD Type" menu will pop up. Click the circle next to "Data CD" and select "OK."

14. Double click the "Music" option under No. 2 ("Add Tracks from My Library") on the "Tasks" list. Double click the "All Music" option and find the 100 songs to burn to a CD. Click the first song, hold down the "Ctrl" key found in the bottom left of the keyboard, click the remaining 99 songs. Release the "Ctrl" key and click the "Add Selected to CD" button below the list of songs.

15. Click the "Burn your CD" button at the bottom of the "Tasks" list in the left column menu. Your 100 songs will now be burned onto one CD.
