Burn Music Onto A Compact disc From The Website

Burn an audio CD using your computer's CD burner.


You can burn music from a website onto a CD by using an audio software program that is already installed on your computer. If you are using a PC, Windows Media Player will be your most convenient choice for burning a CD. If you are using a Mac, you can use iTunes.


Instructions


On a PC


1. Download the music that you would like to burn onto a CD from a website. This can typically be done by right-clicking the music file and selecting "Save File As."


2. Click the "Start" button and hover your mouse over "Programs."


3. Select "Windows Media Player" from the list of programs.


4. Click the "Burn" button to reveal the "Burn List."


5. Drag the music files you downloaded from a website into the "Burn List."


6. Insert a blank CD-R (a recordable CD) into your computer and click "Start Burn." The music from the website will be burned onto a CD.


On a Mac


7. Download the music that you would like to burn onto a CD from a website. This can typically be done by right-clicking the music file and selecting "Save File As."


8. Click "Finder" and open the "Applications" folder.


9. Select "iTunes" from the list of applications and open it.


10. Click "File" and choose "New Playlist."


11. Drag the music files you downloaded into the new playlist.


12. Highlight the new playlist and click "Burn Disc."


13. Insert a blank CD-R into your computer and click "Burn." The music from the website will be burned onto the CD.
