Burn Music To Compact disks

Portable media players, such as MP3 players and iPods, are not your only option for listening to your favorite music at home or on the go. CDs, including ones you burn, are still a viable option.

Instructions

1. Download the latest version of Windows Media Player and install it. Then open it.

2. Click "File" and several options will appear. Select "Add to Library" and a window will open. Click on the "Add" button.

3. Scroll through the folders on your computer until you find the one with your music. Click "OK" in that window and "OK" in the "Add to Library" window. All of the music will be added to the Windows Media Player music library.

4. Insert a blank CD into the computer.

5. Right click "Burn" at the top of the software program. Choose "Audio CD." Then click the "Burn" button.

6. Click "Songs" under the "Library" option on the left side of the program.

7. Right click any music file you want to burn to the CD. Choose "Add to Burn List." Continue adding music to the burn list until you have the songs you want there or the CD is full. The box in the top right corner of the Windows Media Player shows you how much space is available on the CD while you are adding music.

8. Click the "Start Burn" button at the bottom right portion of the program. The music will be burned onto the CD.
