YouTube is an Internet-based video streaming service that allows you to watch other members' streaming videos and post your own to share with friends, subscribers or the world at large. Setting up a new YouTube account requires an active email address, which you must confirm by clicking a link in YouTube's registration email message. You can use your Yahoo! email account for this email confirmation process.
Instructions
1. Go to the YouTube.com homepage.
2. Click the "Create Account" button.
3. Enter your Yahoo! email address and the YouTube username you want to use. Select the country where you reside from the drop-down menu. Select your date of birth from the drop-down menu. Select your gender. Agree to YouTube's terms of service and click the "I Accept" button.
4. Enter and confirm the password you want to use. Enter the displayed security code and click the "Create my new account" button.
5. Go to the Yahoo.com homepage.
6. Click the Mail icon.
7. Enter your Yahoo! email address and password and click the "Sign In" button.
8. Select the email from YouTube and click the link found in the body of the email to confirm your YouTube account.
