A Creative Zen is a top-of-the-line MP3 player that allows you to take your music files with you. In order to listen to your Creative Zen in your car, you need to listen to it through your car's audio system instead of putting on headphones, which can block out other traffic sounds and be dangerous. Connecting your Creative Zen to your car stereo can be done in two simple ways. If you have a cassette player in your car you can use a cassette adapter; with no cassette adapter, you can use an FM transmitter.
Instructions
Connecting With Cassette Adapter
1. Make sure your Creative Zen is off.
2. Insert the cassette adapter into the cassette port on the car stereo.
3. Insert the audio cord from the cassette adapter into the headphone jack on your Creative Zen.
4. Turn on your Creative Zen, and then turn on the car stereo and adjust the volume accordingly.
Connecting With FM Transmitter
5. Make sure the FM transmitter is connected to a power source. This will be batteries or a 12-volt adapter that plugs into the cigarette outlet or power outlet.
6. Turn your radio on but leave the volume down.
7. Connect the audio cord from the FM transmitter to the headphone jack on your Creative Zen.
8. Turn on your Creative Zen and slowly turn up the volume on your car stereo.
9. Tune through the lower channels of your radio station until you hear your Creative Zen broadcasting. This is usually on a lower-end station, between 88.1 and 91.1.
