A Blackberry is one of the most popular PDA's, or personal digital assistants, on the market today, thanks to its myriad features such as texting, Internet access and a personal organizer. Many consumers may be unaware that it's also possible to transfer music from an outside source directly to the device. There's no need to take your Blackberry to a technical expert, as the entire process--from downloading the necessary program to transferring the music--won't take more than a couple minutes. And even the least tech-savvy Blackberry owners can do it.
Instructions
1. Log onto the Internet with your Blackberry and go to Blackberry.com/mediasync and click on the "Download" button.
2. Connect the Blackberry to your computer by using the USB (universal serial bus) cable. On the Blackberry desktop manager on your computer, you will see an icon that reads "Blackberry Media Sync." Click the "Launch" tab directly under the icon.
3. Wait for the iTunes library (or Windows Media Player) window to appear on the screen. There will be an icon of a Blackberry device with a tab under it that reads "Sync." Click this tab to Sync your Blackberry to your media player.
4. Click the "Media" icon on your Blackberry's main menu. Then click the "Music" icon on the next page.
5. Wait for the Blackberry to finish scanning. When it's done, your entire music library should be on your Blackberry. To import specific playlists, create the playlist on your computer's media program, highlight the selected songs and drag them into the Blackberry manager on your computer's desktop.
