Foobar2000 is perhaps the most customizable of any media player software. While other media programs use a predefined interface, the degree to which you can alter Foobar2000 is nearly unlimited. Foobar2000 also allows you to organize your favorite songs into customized playlists. The default Foobar2000 interface stores playlists in tabs at the top of the main music information window. If you need to delete some music from the playlists section, you either can clear the music from a playlist or entirely delete the playlist.
Instructions
Clear a Playlist
1. Double-click on the Foobar2000 desktop icon to launch the program. Click on the tab that displays the name of the playlist you want to clear.
2. Click on any of the songs in the playlist. Press the "Ctrl" and "A" keys simultaneously to select all of the songs in the playlist.
3. Right-click on the highlighted songs, and choose "Remove" to clear the playlist. The empty playlist is still present in Foobar2000.
Delete a Playlist
4. Launch Foobar2000.
5. Right-click on the tab for the playlist you want to delete.
6. Click "Remove Playlist" to completely delete the playlist from Foobar2000.
