If you loved the show "Happy Days" and want to bring some aspect of the syour d cor, including into your bathroom, a number of options exist. Thinking creatively about your decorating accessories will help make them suitable for the bathroom.
Accessories
To bring a "Happy Days" diner theme into your bathroom, start with some show-inspired accessories as well as accessories that fit the 1950's era. These could include chrome bathroom fixtures, a chrome barstool in the corner to store folded towels, vintage glass straw holders for your Q-Tips and cotton swabs and framed 33 records.
Colors and Wall Coverings
Pull the bathroom together by using common colors on the walls, towels and accessories. Choose the colors of the "Happy Days" neon sign, turquoise and purple. You can decoupage "Happy Days" posters to the wall to make wallpaper borders. (See Resources for decoupage instructions.)
Considerations
If don't want to ruin your posters by decoupaging them to the wall, you can mimeograph the pictures in question and then decoupage them. This actually gives them a 50's old newspaper look.
