Play An Sdcard On The Tomtom Go920

Play files stored on a memory card on the TomTom GO 920 GPS device.


The TomTom GO 920 GPS device has many multimedia features. The device is capable of playing music, audiobooks and displaying personal photos. These files can be saved to a SD, SDHC or MMC memory card from the computer. Additional maps can also be added to the device with the aid of a memory card. When trying to access maps on a memory card, just insert the memory card into the device and input the address. The GPS will automatically read the maps on the memory card and provide you with directions. To play media files, you must access the correct menu option.


Instructions


Play Music and Audiobooks on a Memory Card


1. Insert the SD, MMC or SDHC memory card into the memory card slot on the bottom of the TomTom GO 920.


2. Turn on the TomTom Go 920 by pressing the "Power" button on the top, right-hand side of the device.


3. Tap "Music and Media" from the Home screen to access music and audiobooks.


4. Tap "Jukebox" to play music and audiobooks.


5. Select either "Playlist," "Artist," "Album," "Song," "Genre" and "Audiobooks." All files on the memory card in that particular category will be listed. Click on a file to play it. Select the "Forward" or "Reverse" buttons to go to the next MP3 file in the list.


Display Photos on a Memory Card


6. Tap "Music and Media" from the Home screen to access pictures on the memory card.


7. Tap "Photo gallery" to display photos on the memory card.


8. Tap the arrows to browse the list of photo thumbnails.


9. Select a photo on the memory card by tapping it. The photo will open. Zoom in and out of a photo by hitting the "+" and "-" signs in the top left and right corners of each selected photo.


10. Tap the "Slideshow" option to start a photo slideshow.
