Produce A Playlist For The Website

Create a Playlist for Your Website

Creating a music playlist for your website or social networking profile is a quick process that doesn't require a lot of know-how. There are several ways to create and display the playlist, but knowing some of the easiest ways can make it easier for you to design your website while taking less time with smaller details.

Instructions

1. Visit a website such as Projectplaylist.com. Project Playlist is a user-powered website that features a massive music library and playlist-making tools.

2. Register for free with a username and password so you can edit and save your playlists.

3. Search for song titles or artist names that you want to include on your website's playlist.

4. Sample each song that is displayed in the results via the play button next to it. It's necessary to sample the music before adding it, to make sure you are adding the song you want to add. It also prevents you from adding broken or corrupt songs to the list.

5. Click the icon that looks like a plus sign directly next to the play button by the songs you want to add to the playlist. You can add up to 100 songs per playlist, and you can have as many playlists as you want.

6. Click the button beneath your finished playlist that says "embed code," and then choose the skins and appearance of the playlist. You can also choose whether the playlist automatically plays once the page is loaded.

7. Right-click the code that is displayed after you are done editing the playlist. Select cut or copy.

8. Paste the embed code into the coding of your website by right-clicking where you want to put the playlist, and then clicking "paste."
