Engle Lane Theatre
Every summer, Engle Lane Theatre produces both comedies and musicals for live audiences. Unfortunately, in June 2010 a tornado struck the area and demolished the theatre. As a result, productions will be delayed for the rest of 2010.

Stage 212 Inc. more resembles a theatre rather than a comedy club. Founded in 1968, this community theatre has produced more than 125 major productions including one-acts, revues and traveling shows.

The Follies
The Follies theatre resembles a 20th-century music hall and divides its productions between comedies and musicals. The Follies also offers dinner theatre packages in conjunction with the nearby Starved Rock Lodge in Starved Rock State Park and the Nodding Onion.
