Yahoo! account holders can access a variety of free services online every day, including email, Web space, chat, news, maps, movie information and music. Yahoo! Music is made available via ad-sponsored radio and video playback. In Yahoo! Music's Music Videos section, you can play individual videos, including new, featured and recommended videos, and you can watch playlists on video stations' channels. You can also quickly create and share playlists of music videos you like.
Instructions
1. Sign in to your Yahoo! account, and then go to the Yahoo! Music homepage.
2. Go to the Create and Manage Playlists page. Scroll down the page to the My Music section and click the "Create Video Playlist" link to open the page. Alternatively, roll your cursor over the "My Music" tab at the top of the page, select "My Video Playlists" from the drop-down menu to go to your Playlists page and then click the "Create New Playlist" link.
3. Check that "Create a New Playlist" is in the drop-down field next to "Select a playlist" on the right side of the screen. If it isn't, select it from the drop-down. Enter a name and description for your playlist in the fields provided.
4. Select the "Browse Videos" or "Search Videos" tab and locate videos to put in your playlist. In the "Browse Videos" section, select a category from the drop-down menu -- "Top 100," "New Videos," "Recommended Videos," "Videos I've Played" or "Videos Recently Played". Scroll through the selections shown, and then click the "Play" button on any video thumbnail to listen to music. In the "Search Videos" section, enter an artist or video name in the search field, click the "Search" button to see the selection and then review and listen to music.
5. Click and hold a video thumbnail, and then drag a copy of it to the "Drag Videos to Your Playlist" area to add it to your playlist. The thumbnail will turn into a description bar on the playlist. Repeat with other videos as desired until you've created a Yahoo! Video Playlist.
6. Rearrange the videos on your playlist by clicking and dragging the video description bars up or down on the playlist ahead or after other videos as desired.
7. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page when finished; or click the "Clear" button, start over and then save. After you've saved a playlist, click the "Play Playlist" button to listen to it. The playlist will open in a separate browser window or tab and begin playing.
8. Add a new video to your playlist at any time. Click the "Add to Playlist" button to the right of the video, select a playlist and then click the "Save" button.
